Lauren + Evan - Boho Backyard Wedding

Warm winds blowing through Lauren’s dress. Dancing under the stars and Edison string lights. Toasts and “cheers!” made from vintage, amber goblets. Laughter, tears, and so much love. These are just some of the highlights I remember from Lauren & Evan’s beautiful wedding day.

I’ve known Lauren as long as I can remember. Her sister and I were childhood friends and we always stayed in touch. I was so surprised and honored when she reached out asking for wedding planning help and was even more excited when she painted her vision for her dream day.

Lauren & Evan tied the knot in an expansive field with rolling hills and mountain views. However, my heart just about burst when I discovered that the location of their wedding ceremony is going to be the future site of their new home that they will be building.

Lauren and her sisters and bridesmaids incorporated so many beautiful DIY touches that made this wedding truly unique to perfectly tell their love story. Handmade bouquets, desserts, centerpieces and more showed the thoughtful touches and love Evan and his family built the beautiful ceremony arbor which was the perfect backdrop.

From the beginning, Lauren wanted her wedding to have a boho feel with vintage, farmhouse elements and I think we did just that. At the end of the night, people were leaving with fun stories, sharing in laughter and amazing food, and dancing the night away making life long memories!
